Virtual surveillance has provided security and surveillance solutions to many federal and state law enforcement agencies. We take pride in fulfilling the needs of police departments, security agencies, and other law enforcement officials with innovative products and solutions.

In January of 2007, the Plano Police Department in partnership with Virtual Surveillance installed CCTV security cameras on its SkyWatch towers. These towers are set up in shopping areas to deter auto theft and enhance parking lot security. Each SkyWatch has 3 stationary security cameras and one PTZ security camera. A Digital Video Recorder (DVR) keeps the video archive and is capable of transmitting live or archive video to Plano Police headquarters on demand.

In December of 2004 the City of Dallas Police Department announced their partnership with Virtual Surveillance for a pilot study to test the viability of security cameras in law enforcement. The pilot study was very successful and proved the effectiveness of security cameras & DVRs in crime prevention. Downtown Dallas is now covered by wireless security cameras with real-time access to the Dallas Police Department HQ.

CCTV video footage has providing law enforcement with valuable evidence that has enabled officials to better solve crimes for years. Over the past decade, the use of in-vehicle security cameras has become commonplace for police and government departments. These factors have made surveillance technology a key player in the investigative process.
